Sometimes in our walk with God, in striving to be a righteous person, we encounter resistance from the world, as did the Old Testament prophets, who were persecuted and of whom, the Bible says, the world was not worthy. We must be willing to endure whatever the world and the devil throw at us and persevere in our walk with God.
