Our Story

How it all started...

New Life Center began as a mission church under the leadership of Reverend Connie Bellah and his wife, Bess. The church, known then as the Wenatchee Church of God, grew and soon needed a more permanent location. The church relocated to its previous location at the corner of 3rd Street NE and June Avenue in East Wenatchee. As the church grew and needed more space, it relocated to its current location at the corner of 5th Street NE and North Colorado Avenue. Various building programs over the years have seen the church expand into its current facility, where further expansion is planned.

Several wonderful pastors have been instrumental in the church's growth. Pastor Keith Kingsland was responsible for the relocation of the church to its present address at 5th and Colorado. Pastor Floyd Goodwill added a new sanctuary that has served us for many years. And Pastor Ron Hodges led the construction of a second floor above the original sanctuary that became the headquarters for our youth program. These physical improvements made possible the growth in our congregation that the church has seen in recent years.

Expanding the vision...

The church has seen rapid growth in recent months under the leadership of our pastor, Bishop Gregg Tipton, even as we gather resources for a new construction project that will see our sanctuary expanded, greatly, and our multimedia facilities enhanced. We expect our current growth to continue well into the future, through word of mouth advertising, online promotion, and various outreach programs into our community. Join us, and be a part of the vision.

Where we are headed...

It is our hope to bring revival to our church members and friends, as well as to the larger community. Our goal, as ever, is to reach souls for Christ. And we are doing precisely that, as God adds to the church.
