We have a number of ministry areas still in need of further help and support.  If you would like to be part of our team, we will find a place for you among our volunteer staff.  Just contact one of the ministry leaders, mentioned below, to make us aware of your interest.

Volunteer Leaders

JOHN BAILE — Pastoral Care

John is our Director of Pastoral Care and, as such, is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the care of, and maintaining contact with, members of our congregation.  If you would like to help with home visitations, visiting housebound church members or those under medical care, or simply help maintain contact with our people by phone, see John Baile.

NANCY LACROSSE — in-house presentations 

Nancy is our In-House Presentations Manager and on-screen content creator.   Nancy would welcome more help in creating on-screen content and in ensuring that the in-house presentions computer is manned during our services.  If you would like to learn about this fascinating aspect of twenty-first-century Christian service, see Nancy LaCrosse.

STEVE BAKER — Sound engineering 

MICHAEL BULL — Online media content 

Steve is our Sound Engineer and, as such, is responsible for all in-service audio functions.  Among other duties, Steve interacts with our talented musical performers and ensures that the audio monitors are working well for them.  If you would like to help with sound reinforcement and learn about audio electronics, see Steve Baker.
Michael is our Online Media Content Manager.  Michael would welcome more help in creating and editing digital content and could use more volunteers to help man our streaming media computer during church services.  If you would like to learn how to do audio editing, live streaming, video editing and production, and online content management, see Michael Bull.

Patty getzin — Food services manager

Rick Rogers — Worship team leader

Patty is our Food Services Manager and, as such, is responsible for all aspects of food preparation and distribution during our frequent gettogethers in the church's fellowship hall, where food and drinks are served.  This is an important ministry and there is much work to be done, and as they say, many hands make light work.  If you would like to help with this vital ministry, see Patty Getzin.
Rick is our Worship Team Leader and is the person to see if you feel called to contribute to this rewarding aspect of our church's Christian service.  If you are musically gifted, either with an instrument or vocally, and would like to put your talents to work to enhance our music services, please contact Rick Rogers.  Auditions may be required for those wishing to join our worship team.

How do I volunteer?

Just choose the area of service where you think you might be best suited to contribute and contact the person in charge of that ministy.  Your help is needed and will be greatly appreciated.  And most likely, we've been hoping for someone just like you to volunteer, so don't be shy.  If you have questions about volunteering, please fill out the form below.

How do I volunteer with kids?

Niska Morris is our Director of Christian Education.  Contact Niska if you would like to volunteer to help out our New Life Kids program by volunteering to work in either our preschool or elementary school.  Niska is often found in our upstairs classrooms where children gather during church services.

How do I volunteer with music?

Rick Rogers is the man to see.  Rick is an extremely talented man with significant musical experience and is well qualified to advise you on how best to put your talents to work in God's service as a part of our music ministry.  You'll find him up front with the worship team, where he communes with God and his bass guitar, most any Sunday morning.

How do I volunteer with multimedia?

To help out with in-house presentaions, contact Nancy LaCrosse.  If you'd like to help with sound reinforcement, contact Steve Baker.  If you'd like to assist with our online content, contact Michael Bull.  They can often be found in the media booth at the back of the sanctuary during and after service.  They would definitely welcome your help.
