Meet The Team

Baylee Marshall- Preschool Teacher

I have lived in the Wenatchee Valley my entire life and have enjoyed the small town and how it encourages my growth with God. I have been married to my husband for 4 years and we have 2 sons who are nearly 3 years old and 1 year old. I attended Grand Canyon University and received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I worked at the Wenatchee School District as a fourth grade teacher before having my first son in 2022.

My journey as a mother and teacher has been guided by faith, love, and an unwavering desire to support others. My Christian faith has been the foundation of my family, providing strength in difficult times and joy in the everyday moments. Teaching, whether in the classroom or at home, has been my passion- an opportunity to inspire, encourage, and share knowledge with those eager to learn. My ultimate goal as an educator is to make learning fun and create a safe place for students to grow in their faith.

Curriculum

Literacy & Art

Our preschool curriculum fosters literacy and creativity through engaging, hands-on activities. It develops fine motor skills with play dough, tweezers, and scissor practice while teaching letter recognition and phonemic awareness through songs, games, and tactile methods. Writing and drawing start with pre-writing strokes, name practice, and storytelling, helping children build control and confidence in an interactive way.

Math

Our preschool math curriculum teaches counting, number recognition, patterns, understanding of money, and shapes through fun activities. Kids learn numbers with games, recognize patterns, explore coins, and identify shapes, building curiosity and problem-solving skills.

Science

Our preschool science curriculum nurtures curiosity and wonder while exploring God's creation, animals, plants, weather, and seasons. Children learn to appreciate nature, understand habitats and life cycles, explore plant growth and care, and recognize weather patterns and seasonal changes. Hands-on activities, stories, and experiments strengthen their faith and scientific understanding in an engaging way.

Biblical Framework

Our preschool curriculum nurtures faith and biblical understanding through daily prayer, scripture memory, and Bible stories. Children learn gratitude, kindness, and trust in God while applying biblical principles to everyday life. Engaging activities like storytelling, songs, and crafts foster spiritual growth and a personal connection to their faith.
