The Lord sent warnings to those in Zechariah's day, in hopes that some might forsake their sin and turn to him. So has He warned us of what is to come in prophetic scripture. But many will not listen, regardless of all warnings. Even those who don't have the scriptures are convicted, the Bible says, by their own consciences. Let us listen to the scriptures and our own consciences and understand what the Lord expects of us and serve Him to the best of our abilities.
