In the parable of the rich man, Jesus said that all of the man's savings were in vain because his life was about to end. Jesus advised us to trust him for our daily needs. We are advised to work hard but not to worry, because worrying doesn’t help. Seek the kingdom of heaven first, Jesus said, and the rest will fall into place.
